Private 2 to 4-day tours to the dunes of Merzouga and Zagora, with a camel ride at sunset and a night in a desert camp.
A desert tour is the highlight of any trip to Morocco. You cross the High Atlas, follow the road of the kasbahs through palm groves and gorges, and arrive at the dunes just in time to ride a camel into the sunset.
All our desert tours are private: your own vehicle and driver, your own dates, and an itinerary we adapt to you. Start in Marrakech or Fes, finish where you like, and choose a standard or luxury tent.

The big golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, the highest in Morocco. The classic Sahara image. Best with 3 days or more from Marrakech, or 2 days from Fes.
Smaller dunes at the end of the Draa Valley, closer to Marrakech. The right choice if you only have 2 days and want a night in the desert.
Cross the country and sleep in the desert on the way: start in Marrakech, finish in Fes (or the opposite) without driving back.
On the 4-day tour you spend a full day in Merzouga: Khamlia and its Gnawa music, nomad families, sandboarding or quad.
For the great dunes of Merzouga, at least 3 days from Marrakech or 2 days from Fes. With only 2 days from Marrakech, Zagora is the better option.
Merzouga has the big golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, the most spectacular in Morocco. Zagora is closer to Marrakech, with smaller dunes – good when time is short.
You sleep in Berber tents with a bed, blankets and private bathroom, right in the Erg Chebbi dunes. Dinner and breakfast are included.
From October to April the temperatures are ideal. In summer the days are hot, but the nights in the dunes are magnificent; we adapt the timing to avoid the midday heat.
